5Star Camp ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by 6Star Tech, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our guest portal, website, or related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

  • Guest Information: Name, phone number, email address, and stay dates, provided to us by the RV park or campground where you are staying.

  • Communications: Messages you send to park staff through the guest portal, and messages sent to you by park staff.

  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the guest portal, such as which features you use.

  • QR Code Scan Data: When a QR code at a park is scanned, we may log the time, location (lot), and whether the lot was occupied at the time, for the purpose of measuring engagement with our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide access to your guest portal and its features (messaging, maintenance requests, camp store, announcements, and similar tools)

  • Send you transactional text messages and emails related to your stay, such as check-in confirmations, portal access links, and updates on maintenance requests or messages from staff

  • Improve our Service and understand how guests use it

  • Communicate with park staff on your behalf

3. SMS/Text Messaging

If you provide your phone number to park staff during check-in, you consent to receive transactional text messages from us related to your stay, including your guest portal link and updates from park staff. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS consent are not shared with third-party marketers.

4. Information Sharing

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • With the RV park or campground where you are staying, since they manage your reservation and communicate with you through our platform

  • With service providers who help us operate the Service (such as email and SMS delivery providers), under confidentiality obligations

  • When required by law

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain guest information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

You may:

  • Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP

  • Contact the park directly to request corrections to your information

  • Contact us at the email below with questions about your information

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
